i promised to tell you about 2 guys we've met. the other one is tim. our night in derry, we roomed with a guy that wasn't on our tour...

i started this blog and didn't get very far before i had to get off the computer and our internet access has been spotty ever since. so more about tim,(casey said to tell you he's hot) we've talked more about him than anyone else, except maybe conor. funny, since we didn't talk to him much.

it all started during dinner. we decided to cook in the hostel, we made a HUGE and DELICIOUS taco salad. when we went into the dining room to eat there was a very very cute guy watching 'united 93'. (i guess that was an understatement, casey thought this guy was HOT!) anyway, we were trying our best to be quiet, but it didn't work very well (you see, we had just shared a ginormous aero bar and the effect was pretty much immediate) jaeda kept telling us not to ruin the ending of the movie for the guy. he just thought we were strange, especially when we tried to pawn off the leftover salad that would have fed 4 more people quite nicely.
then -- we called home and recieved some bad news. nothing i will go into now, but it was an especially hard night. we went back to the hostel and went to bed. we'd just settled in when this TOTALLY HOT guy walked in. jaeda had sneaked a look at the registry and found out that we were sharing a room with a guy named tim. so i said hello, you must be tim, nice to meet you.' ect... (i must interject that i didn't realize that this was the same guy from downstairs. BUT CASEY DID!!! i wish i could have seen the look on her face. jaeda did and said that it was classic, especially when he walked out of the bathroom without his shirt on. *sigh* (we looked, but didn't touch, i promise)) anyway,we introduced ourselves and that was that. or so we thought...
we were all lying there in our dark hostel room when i decided that we should know more about the stranger sharing our living quarters for the evening. HE WAS HILARIOUS! we all talked about the fact that there must not be very many australians in australia because they all travel. EVERYONE you meet is australian. he said that it was going to make it easier when new zealand finally invaded australia and declared it the west island. the laughter was much needed and alleviated a lot of the stress of the evening.
i suppose that is enough for now. when we left the next morning, he wished the fantastic sisters a safe journey... unfortunatly we do not have a picture to share the hotness with you. take casey's word for it 'HE WAS SO HOT!!!'
